A resort compound in north of Mattaram, Lombok, built using 3 traditional Javanese "Joglos". The timber framed houses are built on a raised plinth, and have large overhanging eaves to provide shade perfect for the climate.
The houses have woven rattan ceilings, modern bathroom and kitchens and stone and timber work made using the skills of the local craftsmen.
